Inspired :)

I've just painted my nails a weird grey colour, for the soul reason I saw it on The Hills and thought it looks nice on Audrina, therefore, since I look SO much like her (!) it must look nice on me. I'm not too sure right now, to be honest. Anyway, I thought I would mess around with bighugelabs.com while I am waiting for the coats to dry, and I made this lovely mosaic of my most recent loveliness:

All available now in my shop.
Best news of the day? Phillip Schofield is following ME on twitter! I'm twinklyspangle on there too, and started following The Silver Fox a few days ago, only to find him reciprocating today! I had to seriously talk myself down from sending him a message saying how much I adored him when I was younger - he was my first crush!! Anyway, I love him on This Morning and now he knows all about me. But not my obsessive love for him, in case he got scared.
Finally, I'm looking for items to feature on my blog. I'm planning to do a colour a week! Next Wednesday, I'll be featuring RED items from your Etsy or Folksy shops. Let me know if you have something you would like me to feature and I'll take a look at it!

Handm@de

If you remember the panic I got into last year over it, you would think that I wouldn't get involved in another Handm@de fair, but since I was involved from the beginning, and really enjoyed collecting the goody bag stuff, I couldn't resist staying part of the team for this years 3 (Yes! We are really going up in the world!) fairs.

Firstly, if you want a table - Check out the flickr group.

Secondly, if you want to donate to the goody bags, read the details at the handm@de blog here.

Beauty in the crafting world

I love being part of the craft community. I love looking through my Flickr contacts and seeing all the beautiful, amazing things that people create. One of my favourite things right now is seeing the lovely Betty Jo Designs adding photos. I adore her intricate lino jewellery and art. How beautiful are these?

Another lovely lady with a lot of talent, who I have met in real life, and was happy to give me a speedy lampwork lesson at a craft fair is Lush Lampwork. She makes really beautiful pieces such as this bead set, which you can turn into your own jewellery, or buy as pre-made, wearable pieces. I love seeing her newest stuff, it reminds me of sweets.

Finally, I found these on Folksy today:

So cute! These are made from the insides of old envelopes. I thought this was a really nice way to make use of these bold patterns. I might even treat myself to some. They are from Milomade - I'm pretty sure they won't be there long, so snap them up!

Manic-Monday-Sale!

I'm having a clear out as I move from one shop to the other, and pieces which I don't have the parts to make again, or won't be making again for whatever reason, are now on sale!
You can visit the SALE section of my OLD shop HERE!

New Chrysalis Pendants, and a new name :)

Well, I took the plunge! I finally changed my name on Etsy, so over the next few weeks I will be rolling out new stock into http://twinklyspangle.etsy.com/, although I won't cease trading at http://keepsakekatie.etsy.com/ until everything is gone, even if I put things I don't want to move across up as PIFS (Pay-It-Forward, basically, free! Although the general idea is that you have to then do something nice for someone else if you snaffle one)

I have no feedback over at the new shop right now. But, I think since Twinklyspangle is my sign-in everywhere, it will eventually pay great rewards. I should be MUCH easier to find.

In honour of the new shop, I am launching a new range of pendants. I haven't been big on necklaces up until now, the inspiration just hasn't struck. Now, I finally found something I can work with, some pendants that I would love to wear myself. In fact, I wore one today. If you want to purchase yours, I'll be throwing in free gifts for my first five buyers in the new shop, so now is a great time!
I would also like to say a big thank you to KitschyCoo and BlackberryCrafts for featuring me on their blogs this week, it's really made the start of my year to find myself being mentioned in not one, but two fabulous blogs :)
